Your new Rhode Island home awaits you

Home

Thank you for visiting our home in Rhode Island. Our family is relocating to Colorado and we are offering our home for rent to you. We hope you fall in love with it as we have.

We have provided some photos and a description of the house.

We ask $2,950/mo in rent.

Our house is located in Northern RI in a rural suburb called Cumberland Hill.  We are 17 miles from Providence (my husband and I work near downtown), with only one stoplight on that commute.

We are situated close to I-295 for easy access to Boston and Southern Mass suburbs. Rte 146 will get you to Worcester in 45 min.

Our 3000+ square foot home was finished in 2000 with 4 bedrooms + office, 4 full baths, and an additional 1400 sf finished basement for recreation or inlaw/nanny accomodations.  We have an oversized 2 car attached garage with room for 3 more cars parked outside on the long driveway.

We have a beautiful barn on the 7+ acre property which abut miles of walking trails in a State Park.  We have nice neighbors but do not live in an area with sidewalks -- it's more quiet country feel.

We recently updated the kitchen and bathrooms with   new granite counter tops,  appliances and elegant fixtures.

Our house also boasts a large stone fireplace crafted from rocks quarried on the property, freshly painted interior, and hardwoods throughout.

An expansive 500sf deck provides a relaxing opportunity for afternoon leisure, evening entertaining and for the young at heart, sleeping under the stars.

The yard is fully landscaped with a 1/2 acre lawn, perennials including hydrangea and roses, and 18 fruit trees, which are scheduled to bear fruit this year. The 100 yard driveway is lined by flowering cherry, maple and black walnut trees.

There is a small slope out back that is ideal for gentle sledding on snowy days.

We have enjoyed growing our own vegetables as well during the summers.

There is a landscaper who maintains the grounds for you to enjoy. Service people are on call for any home maintenance items.

We would like the experience to be as positive and stress free for you as we open our home to you to stay.

The Blackstone Valley bike path is ~ 2 minutes from our house and has beautiful trails along the river and train tracks.  The all-time best ice cream in New England can be found at the Ice Cream Machine just down the road from us. (I personally believe that if I walk there then I've completely burned all the calories off, right?!)   There are a lot of local farms nearby for fresh produce and classic New England activities, several good parks, etc.  Lincoln Woods is about a 10 minute drive.

As I'm sure you can gather, we are very happy living here and sad to leave, but my husband will be starting a new job in Colorado, so life is taking us in a new direction.  The house is wonderful and the property is unmatched.

We hope to find someone who will enjoy the house, the property, and the location, as much as we have.
